Liposuction involves the removal of excess fat from specific areas of the body. Often used to reduce bulges of fat that have remained following exercise and dieting, the procedure can help to remove deep subcutaneous fat around the midsection, the neck, face, arms, legs or other extremities.
We have worked hard to be able to offer an affordable price so patients do not feel pressured to visit under qualified practices or destination surgery.
Our Liposuction surgery includes surgeons fee, hospital fee, and general anaesthetic costs.
The incision locations and sizes are determined by where excess fat is being removed, using a suction cannula. Modern techniques allow for large volume removal, with the length of the procedure being determined by how much excess fat will be removed and are performed under general anesthetic. There are two methods of liposuction that can be utilised, depending on your needs.
Tumescent technique involves the injection of large quantities of fluid into the fat layer. The fluid is then removed along with excess fat using a cannula.
Ultrasound-assisted liposuction utilises ultrasonic energy, with vibrations disrupting fat cell membranes and liquifying fat tissue, which is then removed through suction.

After surgery our recovery specialists will given post-op instructions. It is important to follow carefully. You will be provided with a script for medication, which you will need to purchase after surgery and instructions on when to take the medication over the days ahead. You will be discharged from hospital when your companion picks you up from the hospital. All patients must have a companion to stay with them for 72hours following surgery.
The first week after surgery you should stick to gentle day-to-day activities. This includes minimal house duties, no lifting, staying home as much as possible and sleeping in an elevated position. Commence postoperative exercise (instructions given post surgery).
In the second week of recovery try not to raise your blood pressure too much and still sleep in an upright position. Patients will also be required to attend a postoperative appointment at our office in week 2. this will be scheduled prior to surgery.
Aside from generalised pain, discomfort and local bleeding, the specific risks associated with liposuction include blood and fluid collecting under the skin, uneven contouring, loss of sensation or a feeling of numbness. The remaining surgical scars can sometimes be raised, tender, itchy or pink. These will normally fade over time. If you are concerned about possible complications, be sure to discuss them with your surgeon.
