Body Treatment

Emsculpt

Emsculpt is a non-invasive body sculpting treatment designed to strengthen muscles and reduce fat by inducing powerful muscle contractions that go beyond what’s possible in a standard workout. In just four 30-minute sessions over two weeks, patients can achieve noticeable results that surpass those of traditional exercise routines. Ideal for both men and women, Emsculpt is perfect for anyone looking to tone the abdomen or achieve a firmer, more lifted buttocks.

How does it work?

EMSCULPT derives its name from “electromagnetic,” which reveals the device’s key to success. Utilizing innovative high-intensity focused electromagnetic (HIFEM) energy, similar to that employed in MRI machines, EMSCULPT induces supramaximal muscle contractions in the specific target areas, such as the abdominal or gluteal muscles, during the treatment process. Supramaximal contractions refer to muscle contractions of high intensity that surpass the maximum tension achievable by muscles under normal circumstances, surpassing one’s maximal voluntary contractions (MVC).

In a single session of EMSCULPT, up to 20,000 supramaximal contractions are triggered, equivalent to performing 20,000 crunches or squats in just 30 minutes. These contractions subject the muscle tissue to extraordinary conditions, compelling it to adapt and remodel its internal structure. Consequently, EMSCULPT enhances muscle volume and density. Notably, EMSCULPT is the sole FDA-cleared device specifically designed to promote muscle mass development, consequently facilitating the reduction of stubborn fat, all without requiring downtime or causing discomfort.

What is involved?

Emsculpt treatments are both efficient and surprisingly comfortable. During your session, you’ll simply lie back and relax while the device works on your chosen area. Depending on your goals, applicators will be placed over either your abdominal or gluteal muscles to deliver targeted muscle stimulation.

To ensure a smooth experience, the treatment begins at a lower intensity, allowing your body to gradually adjust to the sensation. As the session continues, the intensity will be increased based on your comfort level and treatment goals. The device alternates between active contraction and rest phases, mimicking an intense workout without any physical effort on your part. While the involuntary muscle movements may feel unfamiliar at first, most clients quickly get used to the sensation.

This package was designed for those want to look and feel their very best. Once the Emsculpt applicator has been applied, you’ll lay on the treatment bed for 30 minutes, what better time than to do a our signature Hydrafacial. Learn more about Hydrafacial

Frequently Asked Questions

We regularly get asked about our procedures, so we have put together a couple of questions we get asked on a regular basis. If there is something else you would like to know, please get in touch!

Weight gain can affect anyone, and as we age, maintaining a healthy weight becomes more challenging. While both men and women encounter this struggle, recent research suggests that women may experience weight loss differently than men. In addition to factors such as genetics, daily caloric intake, food choices, and activity level, women face additional considerations that can hinder weight loss. Some of these factors include:

  1. Muscle Mass: Generally, women tend to have smaller body sizes, less muscle mass, and more fat compared to men. Consequently, men typically experience faster weight loss while consuming more daily calories than women. Muscle tissue burns more calories than fat, allowing men to burn more calories at rest. Emsculpt aids in building lean muscle mass, toning the body, and increasing the number of calories burned at rest.

  2. Menstrual Cycles: While the menstrual cycle itself does not directly cause weight loss or gain, it can influence weight in other ways. Many women are familiar with the effects of premenstrual syndrome (PMS), which can lead to increased cravings for sugary or salty foods, resulting in weight gain. Additionally, consuming salty foods can cause the body to retain more water, temporarily increasing the number on the scale.

  3. Menopause: Maintaining or losing weight during menopause can be challenging. On average, women may gain five to ten pounds, with fat tending to accumulate in the abdominal region. As we age, our metabolism slows down due to a decline in ovarian hormones.

It is important to acknowledge these factors and develop strategies tailored to individual needs when pursuing weight loss or weight maintenance goals, taking into account the unique challenges women may face.

Emsculpt NEO stands as the next stage in the progression of body sculpting advancements. It fuses radiofrequency and high-intensity electromagnetic energies to concurrently trigger muscle growth and decrease fat. This painless and non-intrusive procedure offers the following benefits:

  • Develop muscle definition in specific zones
  • Remove persistent fat deposits
  • Attain a more finely sculpted and shaped physique
  • Enhance your confidence

You can anticipate experiencing noticeable outcomes immediately following the procedure.

Typically, noticeable effects become evident within 2 – 4 weeks after the final session and continue to enhance over the following weeks.
