How it works?

Ultraformer MPT, which stands for Micro Pulsed Technology, utilises the power of MMFU (Micro and Macro Focused Ultrasound) energy.

This cutting-edge treatment delivers superimposed energy that is 25 times finer than its predecessor, allowing it to penetrate deeply into the skin and stimulate the production of collagen and elastin.

By generating a thermal effect, this process activates your body’s natural ability to produce new collagen, resulting in firmer and more toned skin.

The Ultraformer MPT can also target and destroy fat cells in specific areas such as the jowls, nasolabial folds, and under the chin. By precisely targeting unwanted fat while simultaneously tightening the skin, the Ultraformer offers safe and highly effective facial sculpting and rejuvenation.

Selecting the right candidate is essential for achieving optimal results with the Ultraformer. Our expert team carefully assesses each individual, looking for the following characteristics:

Ultraformer is primarily used for facial lifting, rejuvenation, and contouring. We personalize our approach based on your goals and suitability for treatment. By adjusting depths and energy levels, we provide tailored solutions:

  • Pre-event facial: Creates a lifted, illuminated appearance through collagen-boosting and contouring.
  • Full facial rejuvenation: Lifts and tightens without surgery or downtime, offering comprehensive facial enhancement.

After undergoing Ultraformer MPT treatment, you can immediately resume your daily routine, as the procedure requires little to no downtime. During your consultation, you will receive aftercare instructions to protect your skin, optimise results, and prevent complications. It is recommended to avoid excessive sun and heat exposure, as the treated skin may be sensitive post-treatment.

Staying hydrated is essential to help your lymphatic system eliminate fat cells from your body. Many patients notice results immediately after the treatment, and as the collagen regeneration process continues, you will see further improvements for up to six months. Multiple Ultraformer MPT treatments may be necessary for the most effective results.

Yes! We regularly combine Hifu with Morpheus8 or PDO threads. 

Most patients will require at least 3 treatments 4-6 weeks apart for optimal results. Once patients have completed the initial treatments they may do maintenance sessions every 6-12 months.

HIFU is an amazing new technology that delivers dramatic results in as little as 2-4 sessions. Immediately after the treatment, you may notice that your skin is firmer and its texture is lifted.

The full effect of the treatment generally takes around 12-weeks to kick in, and you will continue to see a dramatic improvement in facial contouring, and a visible reduction in fine lines and wrinkles over this time.

Treatments are usually completed in 40 – 60 minutes. Factors contributing to treatment time can be impacted by the size of the area you are needing to treat.

Dr Sedaghat is an Australian-trained Specialist General Surgeon with subspecialisation in Breast Surgery and Breast Surgical Oncology. She is BreastSurgANZ certified in breast surgery and awarded professional certification with distinction in oncoplastic breast surgery from the University of Sydney.

Dr Sedaghat combines her highly qualified and experienced surgical expertise with a compassionate and holistic approach to patient care. Dr. Louis Wessels

Dr. Louis Wessels is a highly qualified specialist plastic, cosmetic, and reconstructive surgeon with a particular focus on breast and body surgery, including liposuction.

 

His practice encompasses the full spectrum of cosmetic and reconstructive procedures, with special expertise in breast surgery. These include primary and revision breast augmentation, breast reduction, breast lift, and tuberous breast reconstruction, as well as body contouring procedures such as abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) and liposuction.

 

Dr. Wessels completed his medical degree (MBChB) in South Africa, followed by internship and general surgery training in one of the most demanding clinical environments. He subsequently completed both his Fellowship and Master of Medicine in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in South Africa, gaining extensive experience across complex reconstructive and cosmetic procedures.

 

He later completed a second Fellowship in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in Sydney, Australia, and was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in 2015. Dr. Wessels has published internationally recognised research on breast implant infection and outcomes following breast augmentation surgery.

 

He subsequently graduated from Macquarie University in the inaugural intake of the Master of Advanced Surgery (Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery), for which he was awarded a scholarship from Johnson & Johnson.

 

Committed to excellence and innovation, Dr. Wessels regularly attends international conferences and professional development seminars to remain at the forefront of evidence-based practice and advanced surgical techniques. He is the founder and lead surgeon at One Cosmetic.
