Care at ONE LONGEVITY begins with a detailed medical consultation with our doctor, with
clinically indicated and pathology testing. This process supports a thorough understanding of your current health status.

Following assessment, your doctor will discuss findings with you and, if appropriate, develop
a management plan aligned with your health concerns and goals.
Management may include:

General medical advice and lifestyle recommendations

  • Investigation and management of hormonal health where clinically indicated
  • Discussion of treatment options based on current clinical guidelines
  • Ongoing monitoring and review as required
 

All care is provided in accordance with Australian medical standards and regulatory
requirements.

Longevity and “Bio-Hacking” Approaches

Some patients present with an interest in “bio-hacking” or performance-focused health
strategies.

In a medical context, these terms may refer to a range of approaches aimed at understanding and supporting health through:

  • Clinical assessment and diagnostic testing
  • Monitoring of biomarkers over time
  • Evidence-informed preventative health strategies
 

Where clinically appropriate, treatment discussions may include regulated medical therapies such as hormone-related treatments or other prescription-based options. These are not considered interchangeable terms and are only prescribed following appropriate medical assessment.

Chief Consulting Physician

Dr. Nathan Chalik is the Chief Consulting Physician at ONE LONGEVITY and is responsible for clinical governance, medical oversight, and standards of care.

In addition to supervising clinical protocols and supporting practitioners, Dr. Chalik consults with selected patients, providing medical care in areas including:

  • General health and wellbeing
  • Hormonal health (where clinically appropriate)
  • Metabolic health

Dr Negin Sedaghat FRACS leads the breast care program after breast implant surgery at One Cosmetic, an essential component of maintaining breast health.

Dr Sedaghat is an Australian-trained Specialist General Surgeon with subspecialisation in Breast Surgery and Breast Surgical Oncology. She is BreastSurgANZ certified in breast surgery and awarded professional certification with distinction in oncoplastic breast surgery from the University of Sydney.

Dr Sedaghat combines her highly qualified and experienced surgical expertise with a compassionate and holistic approach to patient care. In addition to breast implant care, Dr Sedaghat accepts consultations for women seeking comprehensive breast assessment and treatment for a wide range of breast concerns at the welcoming and luxurious environment of One Cosmetic in Double Bay – a valid GP referral at the time of consultation will be needed.

With a clinical background in perioperative nursing, Maree brings medical precision and a strong eye for detail to her work in aesthetic medicine. She is an experienced cosmetic nurse and over the years has trained under leading injectors in the space. She is passionate about combining science with artistry to deliver natural and refined results.

Maree offers all aesthetic medicine treatments and takes a personalised, multi-modality approach when creating treatment plans. She has a focus on restoring and enhancing her clients’ natural anatomy rather than altering them. Katie is our beautiful clinic coordinator at OC and one of the first faces you’ll see when you walk through the doors or call our team. She has several years of experience in a customer service role and brings a wealth of knowledge in managing patients and understands what it takes to support our patients through their cosmetic journeys.

Katie is passionate about skin and skin health, which is so important when patents are seeking advice on where to start. Katie has also recently been through the surgery process herself, so she can give first hand experience when it comes to any surgery related questions.

Chelsea has been with One Cosmetic since it’s inception, handpicked by Dr Wessels to manage his practice and patients. Having been in the health & beauty industry for over 8 years Chelsea has a passion for all aesthetic treatments! Her ever evolving thirst for knowledge and passion for delivering the very best to our patient is why Chelsea has a strong base of clients.

Chelsea treatments include anti wrinkle, dermal filler, PDO threads, lip enhancements, Morpheus8 face and body sculpting and much more! She has an eye for natural beauty and enhancing her patients features. She regularly attends seminars to learn new techniques for best practice.

Dr. Louis Wessels

SPECIALIST PLASTIC SURGEON

Dr. Louis Wessels is a highly qualified specialist plastic, cosmetic, and reconstructive surgeon with a particular focus on breast and body surgery, including liposuction.

 

His practice encompasses the full spectrum of cosmetic and reconstructive procedures, with special expertise in breast surgery. These include primary and revision breast augmentation, breast reduction, breast lift, and tuberous breast reconstruction, as well as body contouring procedures such as abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) and liposuction.

 

Dr. Wessels completed his medical degree (MBChB) in South Africa, followed by internship and general surgery training in one of the most demanding clinical environments. He subsequently completed both his Fellowship and Master of Medicine in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in South Africa, gaining extensive experience across complex reconstructive and cosmetic procedures.

 

He later completed a second Fellowship in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in Sydney, Australia, and was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in 2015. Dr. Wessels has published internationally recognised research on breast implant infection and outcomes following breast augmentation surgery.

 

He subsequently graduated from Macquarie University in the inaugural intake of the Master of Advanced Surgery (Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery), for which he was awarded a scholarship from Johnson & Johnson.

 

Committed to excellence and innovation, Dr. Wessels regularly attends international conferences and professional development seminars to remain at the forefront of evidence-based practice and advanced surgical techniques. He is the founder and lead surgeon at One Cosmetic.
