Nose – Liquid Rhinoplasty
A more affordable and less complicated procedure than opting for surgery is a non surgical rhinoplasty. Non-surgical rhinoplasty otherwise known as a liquid rhinoplasty changes to the shape and structure of the nose by use of dermal filler injected into the nose to help bring about substantial changes in appearance. Common requests are for smoothing out bumps or creating symmetry in the nose. Building up the tip or nasal bridge alternatively lifting the tip or correcting a hump, these are all frequently provided treatments to produce individual contoured noses which seek to address client concerns.
Dermal fillers work by imitating a naturally occurring substance within your body – a sugar molecule that exists naturally in almost all living organisms. Its normal function is to bind water so it acts as a lubricant and shock absorber in movable parts of the body, such as joints. It is also important for the transport of nutrients and in regulating water balance in skin. By boosting your skin with this naturally occurring substance, dermal fillers revitalise and add volume to the area instantly. This diminishes the appearance of lines and wrinkles, and gives a natural softer look. The gel we use is very tissue-friendly and closely resembles that which exists in the body.

What is involved?
The treatment involves thoroughly cleaning the area first. A topical anesthetic will be first applied for your comfort. The treating doctor or nurse will then do a series of injections into the area using our bespoke technique which means we inject the fillers in a way to enhance your natural features. You will then be explained the aftercare.
Your filler appointment will take about 45 minutes from start to finish. As soon as the series of injections is completed, you can go back to your regular activities.Â
At One Cosmetic, we use only the most advanced range of Hyaluronic acid dermal fillers that are available in the Australian market. These products also contain lidocaine, which means that the treated areas are numbed simultaneously during treatment, improving the overall treatment experience for the patient. Your injector will then gently massage the fillers to soften the product.

Risks
- This occurs when filler is injected into or around an artery, causing blood flow to be reduced or stop. Skin may look pale (blanched) and start to turn blue over a period of 24 hours. This is usually painful and, if untreated, the skin may start to ‘die’ and turn black.
- Filler migration

- Bacterial infection

- Ulceration of the skin where you were injected
- Lumps (nodules) forming under the skin
- Allergic reaction
- Permanent disfigurement and scarring
- Haematoma (a collection of blood under the skin or in the deeper tissues)
- Weakness of the muscles of the face, head and neck, which can have undesirable effects on swallowing, vocal cord function and eye movements (double vision)
- inflammatory reactions – especially associated with unregistered dermal filler products which may require surgery to remove.

Due to Australian regulations, we cannot name medicine online. We only stock premium TGA approved brands of dermal fillers.
Cheek fillers last anywhere from 12-18 months. The body will break down the product over a number of months. Every patient’s body will do this at a different rate, hence the varied longevity.
