Cosmetic Treatment
One Cosmetic is home to the newest innovation in Morpheus8 technology. Morpheus8 is a non-surgical skin tightening and has quickly become the holy grail of aesthetics thanks to its impressive, transformative results. Radio frequency energy aids in the remodelling of existing collagen, while microneedling stimulates new collagen and elastin production by creating tiny micro-injuries in the skin. When combined, these technologies deliver the thermal energy of radio frequency waves deep into the skin through adjustable microneedles, achieving unparalleled rejuvenation.
One Cosmetic was one of the very first clinics in Australia to introduce Morpheus8 and has since performed thousands of treatments. Today, One Cosmetic is proud to be recognised as the number one performing Morpheus8 clinic in New South Wales, trusted for delivering exceptional results and leading expertise.
What can Morpheus8 treat?
Pre-Treatment / Consultation
A consultation is held to assess skin condition, discuss medical history, and set expectations. Photographs and skin mapping may be done. You’ll get tailored advice (stop certain actives, avoid sun exposure, etc.).
Preparation
Topical anaesthetic (numbing cream) is applied to the target area (commonly 30–60 minutes) to minimise discomfort. Each pass delivers microneedlling + RF energy at predetermined depths and intensities. Treatment times vary by area but typically last between 30 to 90 minutes, including numbing. The depth and intensity settings are customised for different zones (thin skin vs thicker tissue).
Aftercare
Immediately post-treatment, the skin may appear red, slightly swollen, and feel warm or tight (similar to a mild sunburn). Tiny dot-like microlesions (from the needles) can appear but usually heal in 1–3 days. You’ll receive detailed aftercare instructions: gentle cleansing, moisturisers, sun protection, avoid heat, avoid active ingredients in skincare for a few days. Makeup may be permitted after 48 hours in many cases.Â
We regularly get asked about our procedures, so we have put together a couple of questions we get asked on a regular basis. If there is something else you would like to know, please get in touch!
Yes, immediately post treatment your face will be red/swollen for 24-48 hours. It is also possible for some patients to have bruising. The microneedling part may leave very tiny points on the skin that will crust and flake off. The downtime for Morpheus8 is typically between 3 and 7 days. All patients must avoid sun exposure for 3 months post treatment.
All patients must have a consultation prior to treatment to discuss preparation requirements.Â
Yes! We regularly combine Morpheus8 with C02 or PDO threads to keep the collagen process going. We want to do everything possible to enhance our results.
Most patients will require at least 3 treatments 4-6 weeks apart for optimal results. Once patients have completed the initial treatments they may do maintenance sessions every 6-12 months.
Collagen takes a number of weeks to renew, therefore results are most noticeable at weeks 3-6 post treatment.Â
